Before you go to sleep… how to take care of the skin in the evening?

Fatigue, the desire to rest as soon as possible, laziness … These are the most common causes that lead to improper skin care in the evening. Effect? Irritation, acne, inflammation of the skin and a lot of other imperfections. How to remedy them and mobilize yourself to set proper skin care routines?

You do not wash your face before bedtime

In the evening you do not have to rush anywhere, you do not go to work, you do not have to send your children to school. Skin care should, therefore, be accurate, effective and carried out without haste. Meanwhile, it is quite the opposite. You do not remove your makeup properly, do not cleanse the skin of sebum, dead skin cells, dust and other imperfections. It’s like you do not take off your clothes and shoes, but go to sleep. It would be uncomfortable, right? The skin under the layer of makeup and dirt feels the same.

Don’t fall asleep without removing makeup

Going to sleep without removing makeup is the worst thing you can do to your face. Makeup will clog the pores of the skin, lead to the appearance of acne, wrinkles and blackheads, and the complexion will be grey and heavily impured. What’s more, the rest of the cosmetics will stain the sheets and pillows, and when you go to sleep again, they will be on your skin and irritate it again.

You do not use a night cream

At night, the skin has the time to regenerate and its ability to absorb nutrients is greater than during the day. Therefore, there is no point in wasting this valuable time and do not apply an appropriate care product every night. Products with a rich formula with the content of many beneficial substances will work best.

Do not exfoliate the skin every day

Of course, the skin must be exfoliated from time to time. But you cannot do it every evening. The effects of this “care” would be deplorable for the skin: irritations, disorders related to regeneration and natural keratinization of the skin, excessive sensitivity and susceptibility to harmful external factors. All you need to do is to exfoliate once a week with the product chosen according to the type of your skin.

You do not use an under-eye cream

Using an under-eye cream is actually an additional care. Eye cream should be used by people who have grey and dry skin, swelling, bruising and dark circles, hooded eyelids. A good cosmetic for the care of this part of the face should smooth out mimic wrinkles, firm the skin, improve circulation and soothe irritation.
